A Rainy Monday

It was dark and dreary outside this morning. You know, the kind of day where you'd like to stay in bed all day and watch tv. Surprisingly, it ended up being a productive day. Claire was up like clockwork (I keep waiting for her to sleep in and catch up on some sleep. We've been so busy partying and socializing lately that there have been a lot of late nights out for her.). We whipped up some pumpkin muffins for breakfast -- one of Claire's favorite breakfasts! Then, we headed over to open play at a gymnastics facility where met a couple of friends. Claire had a blast!!!! She loved jumping on the trampoline and climbing up and sliding down the giant inflated slide. She also loved walking across the balance beams. I think it was the first time she's ever been on a balance beam. We might have to have grandpa make her one!
